What is ChatPic?
ChatPic is a secure image sharing service that lets you upload an image, generate a private shareable link, and control access using view limits and expiration time.
How do I share an image?
Upload your image, choose an expiration time and maximum views, then copy the generated link and share it with anyone you trust.
What image formats are supported?
ChatPic supports JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WEBP image formats.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes. The maximum upload size depends on the settings configured by the site administrator.
What does “maximum views” mean?
Maximum views is the number of times an image can be opened through its share link. Each valid view reduces the remaining view count.
When views reach zero, the image becomes unavailable and is automatically removed.
What expiration options are available?
Expiration options may include 1 hour, 6 hours, 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days, and 30 days. The available choices can vary depending on site settings.
What happens when an image expires?
When an image expires, the link will no longer display the image. Instead, viewers will see a message indicating the image has expired or reached its limit.
Expired images are automatically deleted from the server.
What happens when the image reaches the maximum views?
Once the remaining views reach zero, the image link stops working and the image is automatically deleted.
Can I delete an image manually?
ChatPic is designed for automatic cleanup. Manual deletion options may or may not be available depending on the site configuration.
Can viewers download images?
The download option may be enabled or disabled by the site administrator. If enabled, a download button will appear on the image view page.
Does ChatPic use watermarks?
Watermarks are optional and can be enabled by the site administrator. If enabled, uploaded images may display a watermark on the view page.
Does ChatPic work in private or incognito browsing?
Yes. ChatPic can be used in private browsing. However, some browser privacy settings or extensions may affect how links behave.
Is my image public?
No. ChatPic uses private token-based links, which are difficult to guess. Only people with the link can access the image while it is still active.
Can someone guess my link?
ChatPic links are generated using random tokens designed to be hard to predict. For best safety, only share links with people you trust.
Can I password-protect an image link?
Password protection may be available depending on the site settings. If enabled, viewers will need the password to access the image.
Can ChatPic prevent screenshots?
No website can reliably stop screenshots on all devices and browsers. ChatPic focuses on access control, expiration, and view limits to reduce risk.
What should I do if I see copyright-infringing content?
If you believe content hosted on ChatPic violates your copyright, please contact us with the link and relevant details. See our DMCA / Copyright Policy for instructions.
